NJ Permit Plans · A service of HB Thompson Group LLC · Last updated 2026

1.Services

NJ Permit Plans provides permit drawing services for submission to local municipalities. Services are limited to permit drawings and do not constitute full architectural or construction documentation unless specifically stated.

2.Client-Provided Information

Drawings are prepared based on information provided by the client, including measurements, photographs, sketches, and project descriptions. We rely on this information and do not independently verify all field conditions.

3.Scope & Pricing

Project scope and pricing are based on submitted information. Incomplete or inaccurate information may result in revised scope, additional fees, or schedule adjustments.

4.Permit Approval

Drawings are prepared to meet typical requirements under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code (NJUCC). However, permit approval is not guaranteed. Municipalities may require revisions and code interpretations vary by jurisdiction.

5.Signed & Sealed Drawings

Where required, drawings may be signed and sealed by a New Jersey licensed architect as part of the overall service. We reserve the right to decline to sign and seal drawings if conditions are not suitable.

6.Site Conditions

Unless specifically included, services are performed without a site visit. Existing conditions are assumed based on provided information.

7.Construction Responsibility

We are not responsible for construction means or methods, contractor performance, jobsite safety, or deviations during construction.

8.Payments

  • Deposit is required before work begins
  • Final payment is required before delivery of drawings

Payments are processed through third-party providers.

9.Use of Documents

Drawings are prepared for a specific project and location. They may not be reused or modified without written consent.

10.Revisions

Revisions due to client changes, incomplete information, or new conditions may result in additional fees.

11.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the total fees paid for the project.

12.Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
